Closing ceremonies let out at about 6:30pm, and after getting a few pictures, I headed over to the Golden Palace Chinese buffet, to get a good supper that would last me the rest of the night. Sunday morning had arrived, and I found the strength to start another day, the last day, of this fantastic convention. It wasn't too hard, actually, as I had plenty of motivation. Went down to my first panel of the day, which was Light Effects and Electronics in Fursuit Construction, at 10:30am.

By 2:40pm, the Fursuit Parade was done. I walked around the area outside the SOP Ballroom hoping to catch some better photographs of suiters in a non-moving setting, and others I had completely missed. But, seemed like a lot of them had disappeared- probably into the headless lounge, and after that long parade I don't blame them.

Totally missed the Gideon's Anthro Anatomy panel, just got too late of a start to my Saturday morning.  I met with Luka in the zoo for a little while, then checked out the class on Masks, Prosthetics, and Latex Work.  Shortly after noon I picked up a pepperoni pizza at Fernando's, and brought it back to the zoo to have lunch in a less hurried ( Read more... )

I got a little bit later start to my Friday morning at AC.  Although only peaking about 6 hours sleep, I had a good nights rest and slept in a little longer than the previous day.  After breakfast, I gathered all my things, and at about 10:40am, abrahmlion and I headed out to Opening Ceremonies, which was to begin at 11:00am.  I am always honored when I can ( Read more... )

I began Thursday with a routine typical of my stay at the convention: a shower, followed by breakfast in my room, consisting of a small box of cereal and a cup of mixed fruit.  Opened the window curtains wide to let the daylight shine in, then headed down to the zoo.

Despite the initial disappointment that I did not get a full fursuit to debut at AC11, I had a great time at the convention this year.  As expected, I became so involved in attending panels and taking pictures that I still had lots of fun, just like I have other years.  I do have a really nice lion fursuit head (just the head), but as it turned out ( Read more... )

I went to the Fursuit Friendly dance last night in the horsehead... wow, what a difference a fursuit head makes.  I reluctantly walked out there and moved a little, felt weird but I also felt free, so I moved some more.  Then a song came on that I liked (Der Kommisar), and I let loose and turned into a wild stallion.  Well, kinda.  A number of ( Read more... )

Wednesday night I met Luka Lioness... ended up hanging out with her most of the day Thursday, and took her to the Golden Palace chinese buffet for a mid afternoon lunch/dinner combo.  She's one talented individual.  And you should see her new Luka fursuit... wow!
